The Parents Association organises a range of activities and initiates projects which aim to promote the education, interests and well-being of the pupils – our children – of Ennis CBS. We work closely with the School Authorities, the Principal, Board of Management and Staff.
Our main aim is to continue to foster the spirit of partnership so that pupils, staff and parents can enjoy being part of the vibrant, inclusive and happy community that is Ennis CBS Primary School. The kind of activities we arrange throughout the year such are the Halloween Disco, Table Quizzes, Bingo nights, Annual Garden Fete, School Calendar etc. The monies raised from these events go towards funding various things in the school for our children. We can not do this without the help and support from the parents of the school.
Following our AGM in October of each year, we meet monthly throughout the year on the second Tuesday of each month during the school term.
If at any stage you would like to get involved and help out please get in touch any time. This will be an effective way to rapidly get to know parents, other children and integrate fully within the school environment. Once registered, you will be notified of upcoming events, the volunteer requirements and have the opportunity to get involved.
As well as our regular text messages to Parents advising of upcoming events, we publish a quarterly Newsletter which is sent home via the students.
The Parents Association have recently set up a Facebook Page for the parents who currently have children in the school. The idea behind this is to hope to keep parents informed of events happening and to encourage everyone to get involved. Please remember this is for the parents of the school ONLY.
